All in Winnipeg. Almost all the photos of buildings were taken in the Exchange district. It's interesting that this area was supposed to be torn down and if Winnipeg had more money in the 1960s they probably would have done it but they were broke and so now there is this historic patch of around 150 historic buildings right in the heart of downtown. Pretty unique spot. They said back in the day that Winnipeg was the Chicago of the North so its cool walking and biking through these streets that I can get a sense of what Winnipeg was like around the turn of the century and maybe by extension what Chicago was like then too.
Looks freezing. I love the freight train one. Reminds me of driving through the prairies and only seeing those trains. The always brought colourful hope.
Thank you! As much as I love summers in Winnipeg for nice photo walks you can't beat the crispy winters! The winter light (its sunny pretty much all the time) reflecting off the snow and everything, WOW.
