View from a good friend’s home. Strange to live above Canada Vacuum but it gives you a great view looking down Broadway at sunset.
Every time I bike through the industrial area east of St. Boniface and before Transcona, I am reminded of Macau. Somehow the haphazard way things are laid out remind me of spaces that haven’t quite solidified to “the grid” or have been “developed” as much as other parts of the city.

This use to be a beautiful building, or if it wasn’t a building it was probably houses, and if it wasn’t any of those it was probably anything that was more useful that parking people’s private metal boxes here.
Is this even Winnipeg, or maybe this is another city. Almost gives me Hong Kong vibes.
