Hey y’all,
Michael here. I recently came across a musician online, who alongside doing music also does a daily journal. He journals for 15 minutes everyday and ends each day’s entry with the phrase, “I hope to ease loneliness in myself, my community, and people I may never meet.” People I might never meet.
Most people who follow along here, I know in real life or at least are in the circles of other friends.
Hello to you all, you know who you are and I’m sorry if we haven’t spoken in a while. Or if we haven’t really spoken because we don’t *technically really know each other*, hi.
But there are also some that have decided to follow along that I haven’t even met before.
Hello to you all too. Thanks for finding this little online corner of thoughts, musings, and photos. I hope you are well.
How sweet it is to live on this earth, at the same time as you all. All of those people that I have met and also all those people I may never meet.

August was hot, full, and busy. Looking back it was full of:
Saskatoon, Lanterns for Peace, Bike Jams, Family Faspa, Sammy Obseid, saying goodbye to friends, neighbourhood photo walks, disc golf, fish fry, Spikeball, the downtown Y, making dumplings, slippers and honey from Hutterites, selling cameras, reading “Pageboy”, BLT’s (I think the best I’ve ever had!), AWOL, laughing in Vital statistics, Rosebud, and watching Napoleon Dynamite with the commentary.
Enjoy the photos,
Michael, not Mike
P.S. I’m trying out minimal captions with this month’s selection of photos. Hope you like it. Or maybe you like some more context to each shot. Feel free to let me know.
