Rallies for Palestine, ceremonies of ashes, degrowth talks, voting cards, first Fridays, you destroy what you come for, dumplings, exercises with Oma, keeping it Riel, fancy birthday meals, meeting new babies, friend hangs at the nook.
At first Fridays and after a poetry performance, someone in the crowd performed an improv poem, taking the topics from audience member’s suggestions.
Good to hang out with friends I hadn’t seen in some time.
A melting ice skating rink in the park just outside my apartment door. A strange site to see in the middle of February.

Oma showing off her exercise moves. She has been doing exercises as part of an exercise class that runs in the building she lives in for the past 15 years. She says that exercise is what has kept her “with it” and so healthy.
Whenever I pass by the Food Fare on Maryland I always think how it used to be a movie theatre and wonder what kind of movies were shown back in its hey day.
Fancy dress up birthday dinner for my partner and cousin who are birthday twins. Same day, same year.
Going for a little walk out in the exchange. Probably going to hit up Parlour.

Town 8 cinema. The last movie I went to go see was The Green Knight (2021).
One day I didn’t have my bike at work and instead of bussing home I decided to walk. It was a bright, dry, warm, day to do it.
